Time to Change your Home Decor!

cushions, colors, hanging lights, fabrics, patterns, styles,
Wishing everyone a Super 2016!

Here’s a recent addition to the high street of Jl Raya Kerobokan that offers a fresh look for ones’ home, it’s always a good idea at the onset of a new year to discard the old (into the cupboard at least) and change your interiors around, just like your closet of clothes….

Blue Bamboo Bali

Artisanal is all the go in Bali and just about all retailers are printing their own designs on their desired choice of fabric. This is necessary as should deter copycats! Remember that when you shop you should buy enough pieces to complete your new home look, as it’s likely that when you re-visit the same shop, they may not have the print you love in-stock…. most stores only do ‘small runs’ due to the copying that happens here….

Blue Bamboo offer their own original fabrics printed in Bali for cushions, bedding, tableware and accessories, the look is contemporary with an Asian influence as well they offer a unique collection of bespoke printed designs in a choice of fabric, plain or twill.

Mix and match the different patterns (patterns on one side only) as we all know ‘color/pattern’ clashing is a thing of the past, anything goes these days within reason of course (same as fashion) however, if you have a good eye for color you can usually create an interesting combo for any room in your home.

For bedrooms, mix cushions of turquoise and orange, lime and natural or soft purple and light blue for a more unusual combination. Add a bed runner to match one of the cushion colors and then, check out the hanging lamps, choose a round shape, an oval or a teardrop….
Now go on, spice up all the bedrooms in your home with a different colors mix!

Family rooms also lend themselves to plenty of color treatment, and if you want to be really creative, buy some paint and splash on one of the walls.

For your dining table there’s an equally good line-up of placemats in color and pattern, sets of four (4) in napkins and coasters, add one of the hanging lamps for an instant transformation.

Visit your favorite fabric store, choose some solid colors (that match with the cushion colors) and update your curtains for windows. In fact, you could probably do a wholesale order at Blue Bamboo and buy some lengths of fabric in the same pattern as your cushions.

And, there are other accessory products to buy that will add that ‘splash’ to any setting. Playing with color and pattern for your home decor can be a whole lot of fun plus the prices are most affordable!

Oh yes, and not to forget, Blue Bamboo Bali offer a bespoke interior design service on request, for home, office or villa project. Retail and Wholesale
